Of course, Graeme Greene wrote the novel and screenplay for The Third Man in parallel. But he hadn't done any sketch comedy so... loser.

Have a great idea for a movie. Or is it a novel? Novel means more typing. But 18 months to write novel is quicker than selling screenplay.
