As a kid growing up in New Jersey, I knew there was something different about me. I always had dreams of a life that was a little different from what the other boys in my class and neighborhood were talking about. I didn’t want to be a policeman; I didn’t want to be President of the US or even a doctor. I wanted to be a stand up comedian. I always liked to say outrageous things and see how people reacted. Some liked it, some didn’t but I usually always got a laugh and of course what I liked the best, attention!
I grew up in New Jersey and spent the summers down the shore. My mother would have the car packed up on the last day of school, and then we would be down the shore until school started in September. As a kid, I though all kids did the same thing but apparently some of them go to camp instead. Crazy things happened during the summers down there. My mother still remembers the day I came home after losing my virginity. She says I looked like I had just seen a ghost. This was after me crying after having sex for the first time. (I don’t think I did, but am told I did.) The boardwalk in Seaside was always the hot spot to go to. It was loud,
routy and fun! However, not like what you see on MTV. We would drive around in my Pontiac Firebird checking out the scene. I had a red Firebird AND my twin brother had the same exact one in white. It was great that we had our own cars but, come on dad!
